Documents

Documents are where your school communications live. Emails are ingested automatically, and you can upload anything else — newsletters, permission slips, handbooks, timetables, PDFs from the school website.

Uploading

Click the upload button on the Documents page and select files. Slurp accepts PDFs, Word documents, images, and most common formats. The content is automatically extracted, indexed, and made available to chat.

Each document is assigned a label so you can organise content by school or child.

Browsing and Searching

The Documents page shows your library in a compact table. Use search to find documents by title or content — Slurp uses semantic search, so you can describe what you're looking for ("permission slip for the excursion to the museum") rather than needing exact keywords.

Labels

Labels help you separate content when you have multiple children or schools. Filter by label to see only the relevant documents, and the chat assistant will respect your label filter when searching.
