Action Items

Action Items are things you need to do — return a permission slip, pay for an excursion, send your child with a hat on Thursday. Slurp extracts these from school communications so they don't get lost.

How They're Created

When Slurp processes an email or document that asks parents to do something, it can surface that as an action item. Things like "Please return the signed form by Friday" or "Bring a gold coin donation" get picked up automatically.

Managing Action Items

The Action Items page shows your outstanding tasks. Mark items as done when you've dealt with them. You can also ask the chat assistant "What do I need to do this week?" to get a summary.
